About Me
Professional filmmaker | editor
I’m Dinara Ostrouchova, a London-based filmmaker specialising in fashion, dance and visual storytelling. My work is driven by movement, emotion and atmosphere, blending cinematic aesthetics with a documentary sensitivity to create films that feel both elegant and authentic.
With a background in dance and drama, I have an instinct for movement, timing and performance. This strongly influences how I film dancers, performers and models, allowing me to capture moments that feel expressive, alive and emotionally grounded rather than staged.
Alongside my creative background, I hold a Master’s degree in Events Management and have extensive experience working within live environments. This gives me a clear understanding of the production flow, backstage dynamics, and the rhythm of events, enabling me to work calmly, efficiently, and respectfully while anticipating key moments as they unfold.
Over the years, I’ve collaborated with designers, dancers, art galleries, charities and emerging brands on a wide range of projects, including fashion films, dance performances, behind-the-scenes content, commercials and documentary-style pieces. I often work across the entire process, from visual development and filming to editing, ensuring a cohesive, considered final result.
I approach every project with care, organisation and attention to detail, whether working independently, leading a small team or supporting a larger production. My goal is always the same: to create visually striking, emotionally resonant films that tell meaningful stories and reflect the essence of the people and projects behind them.
If you’re looking for cinematic, movement-led and thoughtfully crafted visual content, I’d be happy to connect.
